As my campaign to abate the madness of waiting on clients, prospective clients, and other job-related fanfare, AMC on Demand has introduced me to yet another new episodic friend in BBC1s "Hustle". Imagine Ocean's Eleven as a TV show. Every week a crew of five con artists and their square barkeep buddy pick as nasty person (who ranges from out and out thug to sweatshop owner to muckracking newspaper publisher) and cons him out of a good deal of dough within 60 minutes. Starring Adrien Lester, a Brit brother who's best known here for his work in Primary Colors with John Travolta and his run on Girlfriends as one of Joan's love interests, the show is a sleek sexy romp through London's underworld and the through the lives of a motley crew of characters including Jaime Murray (the crazy artist chick from Season Two of Dexter) and veteran American actor Robert Vaughan (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) If you've got time on your hands there are a good number of episodes up. Definitely worth checking out!
Looking through Rich's summer Facebook posts today, it's came to mind that I've missed most of the key events in the last few months. Jill Scott and Erykah will be at Wingate in the next few weeks and there are still plenty of movies to catch. Still I feel like I missed the boat. In a way that's a good thing. I've grown tired of seeing the same 50 people weekend every weekend. I feel like I know the DJ's set before it comes on. I feel like I need something different. I've been thinking about dissolving into some of the rock circles for awhile, as I'm clueless about the nature of that world, or any other worlds for that matter. But as I remind myself that sooner or later I'll have a whole year to be a recluse, I need to take in as much as I can, snap as many shots of all the lovely sistas while they're showing the most.
I had a gig interview that went well today. I had a dream about a girl who I haven't seen since the eighth grade, one who used to make a game of grabbing my ass when she was going up the stairs behind me. In that same stretch I spent a class period fondling the backside of a chocolate female classmate through seated in front of from of mine in Physical Science. I often wonder what happened to her too.
I'm starting to believe that money and sex really do go together, just like one of my myspace friends thinks they do. So single ladies out there, I'm looking for a suga mama. I'm kid, drug and disease free, and know how to move my moving parts. Any takers? Out.

I'm sorry, I can't help you with the suga--I'm low on the white gold myself and most likely am in need of a sweet daddy myself--though I'm too stubborn to ask for it...but I'm a good listener, so let me know how well you do with your love draw--I could use a few pointers myself!
